Summer Fun

Well summer so far has been loads of fun. I have a new swing and love hanging out on it under the veranda looking at all the birds and the leaves in the trees moving around. I also love eating dinner outside under the umbrella. I feel like a real grown up! This week was my first swimming lesson. I wasnt really too keen on the water being splashed on my face but loved drinking it!! and I got the hang of kicking by the end of our lesson. I have 10 lessons, so recon I'll be a whiz by the end. Auntie Treena sent me this cool orange and purple rash shirt so I feel like a pro. I have also been seeing a lot of my friend Katelyn Bedford which has been loads of fun, she is teaching me how to talk louder!! Think I may be getting the hang of it too...mum seems to think so. I also went to Taupo for my first ever picnic. It was so nice watching all the people walking by and just hanging out on the grass with nana and mum. Pop was flying gliders down there too so we went and watched for a wee bit in the afternoon. I have really enjoyed my first summer so far.. yippee
